We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. We do not have servers. Your call logs, audio recordings, and contact information never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to back them up to your own cloud storage.
All audio files are saved directly into a secure, hidden application sandbox directory on your phone. This ensures that unauthorized third-party apps cannot access your private conversations.
If you choose to enable the Google Drive backup feature, the app communicates directly with Google's secure API. Your recordings are uploaded straight to a private folder in your personal Google Drive. We have no access to this cloud storage.
Smart Call Recorder utilizes Android's Accessibility Services API exclusively to capture call audio natively. This is required to bypass system limitations and ensure clear audio recording on modern Android versions. We do not use this permission to track your screen, read your messages, or monitor your app usage.
